After six races the 29er Eurocup Finals ranking is led by Hungarian Kis Szölgyémi-Juhász

Riva del Garda – The 29er Eurocup Finals, an event organized by Fraglia Vela Riva, are getting underway. Yesterday’s light Ora, useful to allow all the fleets to complete two races, has in fact gained strength, allowing the Race Officials to complete another four races which, bringing the total to six and triggering the first discard, have given greater solidity to the ranking.

Regulating the over one hundred and thirty registered participants, present we remember representing fifteen Nations, are currently Soma Kis-Szölgyémi and András Sámuel Juhász (today 1-1-2-1). The Hungarian duo, second in the seasonal ranking but credited with the pre-event favors for the conquest of the overall success by virtue of the forfeit given by the leaders, the Polish duo Lewandowska-Krolik, gave credence to the predictions thanks to a score line of absolute value and performance cues that allowed them to always sail in the group of the best.

Second in the general ranking, with a delay of only three points compared to the leaders, are the Italians Giuseppe Montesano and Enrico Coslovich (1-1-34-1), who went from sixth to second place and managed to signal themselves as the best Under 17 team thanks to the overtaking of the Germans Lucas and Moritz Hamm (14-2-1-1), fifth until yesterday and currently third.

To find the best female pairing, you have to scroll down to fourth place, currently occupied by Petronille Lescanne and Raphaelle Kimbel (2-9-1-1), while the top performer among the mixed crews, the one composed of the Polish Antonina Puchowska and Mateusz Gasiorowski (1-4-3-3), is fifth.

Today the qualifying trials have come to an end: tomorrow we return to the water at 9.00 with the fleets divided between Gold, destined to assign the event winner and the seasonal ranking podium and to define the seasonal ranking, Silver, Bronze and Emerald.
