In Riva del Garda 1Quick1 and Fever are leading the pack

Riva del Garda – Taking advantage of the unusual afternoon presence of a gusty and rather capricious Peler, the Race Committee of the Grade 1 Dragon Italian Grand Prix archived the first two races of this prestigious international event, which brought together at the Fraglia Vela Riva as many as thirty-six crews, present on Garda Trentino representing all the continents and ten nations.

Taking command of the operations were the Swiss of 1Quick1, winners of the 2023 World Cup in Bodrum, and the British of Fever with Diego Negri on board, who won the championship in 2022 in Kuhlungsborn. Separated by just two points and armed respectively by Wolf Waschkuhn and Klaus Diederichs, the favourites on the eve are ahead of the Portuguese of Easy, led by Michael Zankel on the third step of the provisional podium, in close contact with the leading pair. Further behind are the Swedes of Pilsner and the Germans of Khaleesi who have the honor of completing the provisional top five.

Among the Corinthians, however, today’s two tests promoted Tilmann Krachardt’s GER-1150 to leader, currently eleventh.

The best Italian crew is Yevgen Braslavets’ Transbunker Team, currently sixteenth, while Marco Gerbaudo’s Dragondine is nineteenth and Guido Garrone’s Japetus thirty-fourth.

The instability of the weather, also announced for the next few days, has advised PRO Antonio Micillo to set the preparatory session for the third test for 10am tomorrow morning. We remind you that the format of the event involves the holding of a maximum of eight regattas, spread over four days.
